Outside Interests/Hobbies:
I'm an avid runner and I ran the 2009 Boston Marathon in 3 hours and 16 minutes. I also love going out to eat, reading, spending time with family and friends, and am in heaven whenever I am near the beach.
What You Enjoy About Local News:
I love learning about a wide spectrum of issues, sharing what I've learned and showing how it affects people. Particularly, I'm passionate about covering politics. Oftentimes, it's difficult to grasp how politicians' decisions affect us, but they do--greatly and directly. The media has a civic duty as the fourth estate to keep decision makers in check and make sure the public knows what they are up to.
