I had my left shoulder surgically repaired about 8 years ago. I had to have the surgery and post-operative physical therapy in order to keep my arm from popping out of joint after I injured it while kayaking.

There was pain for a time after the surgery and the PT was no fun, but I'm pain free now.

Thanks.I wish I had gone on and had it done a while back.I kept thinking it would get better and all it did was get worse.I don't see how getting it fixed could be more painful than what I have been going through.Nothing, and I mean nothing has been helpful in getting any relief from the pain.I can only hope the surgery will fix the problem.I don't care how painful the surgery and therapy is it can't be as bad as what I have, and am still going through.

TDOT often fixes shoulders with no problems.  Maybe even throws in a rumble strip to wake you up...

This is not a Pic Nic by any stretch of the imagination. It is worse than I thought it would be.I thought I would be back driving and everything else in a couple weeks. Not going to happen, but I am better and I guess it gets better from here.I now have a lot more sympathy for anyone who has to have this done.
