People we all need to try to get along now, because next Tuesday this country will change forever,This country is about to make history and I'm afraid its not going to be good, either way it go's, we all lose. We have McCain who is a war nut, something we don't need, Obama who is black and 50% of white people will not listen to or believe, Then we have Miss Sarah who is a heartbeat away from being V.P. of our Country, now I'm not saying she isn't smart, because we know she is, but if her and McCain won and something happen to McCain do you really believe the american men would listen to her.(I don't think so) Then we have Joe Biden, and as for myself, he's the only hope we got. I'm sorry folks, I'm so confused about this election and the state of this country,I don't know what to think or do.I hope someone can help me see the good in any of this.

Your fears should lie in the fact that we will most likely have a democratic congress and a democratic president which will most likely result in a liberal supreme court.

Now don't get me wrong, I believe that there is a place for the likes of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.........that place just isn't on capitol hill.

McCain doesn't give anyone a warm fuzzy feeling either, but it could be that four more years of gridlock will be much better for us as a nation than a government leaning to the left from every office.

It's not because they sit on it.  It's because of hidden assets.
Samething, it does not generate revenue. The thing is class war fare is not going to work. The rich will just move their money over seas, and wait until they can reinvest here later.

That is a completely ignorant post. This country is the youngest super power in the world, and has always been able to save the rest of the world. Capitolism with a free market is the only way this Country does well, and the last thing we need is more socialism, we need to eliminate the socialism we have now not bring more in. Obama/Biden are all for socialism, and if you look at their votes and listen to the words that come right out of their mouths. Everytime the socialist ways are tried they fail, because if you take from the productive workers to give to people whoare not productive just make s the productive workers less productive no matte what scenario you use. By the way I corrected your misspelling of America. The "a" is capitol when spelling the name of this great country, but we American lovers know when we see a liberal, because they do not Love this country. Look at the videos of Obama not placing his hand over his heart during the pledge.

..and the "capital" used in the context of your sentences is spelled with an 'A' not an 'O'.

You missed the point. It was not the misspelling I was pointing out, I was pointing out the dislike towards the country.

I'm currently watching the hearings on economic stimulus.  They are discussing extending unemployment, infrastructure projects, assistance to state governments and a multitude of other expensive handouts.

We know that these expenditures along with the other bailouts will be paid for on the backs of our children and grandchildren...or not.  If the attitude in government reflects the attitudes of people, our government will never feel the obligation to make good on their debts.

I guess our next round of laws will contain a bailout package for the government...wonder what they will come up with to guarantee that bribes, kickbacks, and graft will be given preferential treatment when the obligations of government are forgiven?

You worry about Palin's inexperience, yet everyone seems comfortable with the current leaders' stupidity and ignorance.  I'd say there's a double standard, but Pelosi is a female.

If intelligence, fiscal acumen, and experience are really an issue in government, why not look for it in all candidates?  Let's face it, the current crop of crooks is as dumb as a bag of nails, and much less useful.

maybe you just can't understand when someone is concerned about our great country, you give me the impression that you are more concerned with proving
someone wrong,or about the all mighty dollar. And so you know, I am very proud of the wonderful country we live in, just not to proud of the government. And I'm not to fired up
about this country making history right now,but that not in my hands,I just hope God will
guild our next leader.

What I am most concerned about is the fact that I have spent my life working towards the American dream while helping the country expand like so many, and now we are going to see all of our hard work wasted by one vote. I should have just partied with the rest of you stinking liberals instead of working extra hard.

Tee hee hee.

Heads up. Not so sad. You can still make your billions, just by moving to Columbia. Columbia, is the place where they openly kill Labor Union Organizers, and they've adopted the Bush / McCain economic model, so you shouldn't have any problems making your billions down there. And it's still an American Dream, maybe a South American Dream, but still the same. Waaaaaaaaah.

Hey I don't know what job you have worked so hard at, but I've have work just as hard if not harder, but I love what I do and to make money at it  good to, To me the American Dream is to be happy with what you got.I must not make the money you do because I'm
not as up tight as you seem to be. I don't need a Cadilac,I'm just as happy with my little
junked up truck. :)If I spelled something wrong please forgive me.

Why is it that no one will say that Biden is one heartbeat away from the Presidency?

"... The McCain-Palin campaign has become more openly right-wing and racist since Palin joined the ticket. Not that McCain isn’t a racist. His contemptuous reference to Obama as “that one” was his way of sending the right-wing base of his followers a message that he was indeed racist enough to say it openly on national television ..."
