I tried this recipe last night and I thought I would share it.

1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 package of Kool Aid (your choice in flavor)
1 Graham Cracker Crust

Mix all ingredients with a hand mixer for 3-4 minutes. (The longer you mix the more firm it will become). Pour into pie crust and let chill for 2-3 hours.

I tried Lemonade and Orange Kool Aid last night. The Lemonade taste more like a Key Lime pie and the Orange taste like a creamsicle and you end up with a pie that is a very pretty light orange color.

Enjoy!

Well if it makes you feel any better my son thought I had finally lost my mind until he tried it.

I have another good recipe but you have to like caramel.

Take 1 can of Eagle Brand and submerge it into a pan of water. (Do not open the can). Boil it on medium heat for 4 hours (time consuming but worth it). Once it has boiled, remove from heat, allow to cool for about 20 mins. and then pour it into a graham cracker crust and you have a great caramel pie. I never knew you could make caramel this way and it is 100 times better than store bought caramel.

I tried your Kool-Aid pie Kimberlee and it was so good. I did the orange and you're right, it tasted like Creamsickle. My whole family loved it. I am anxious now to try the lemonade.
That caramel pie sounds interesting too. One can of the milk makes enough to fill a pie crust? That's all you put, one can of milk.....no sugar or anything?

Just a note......be VERY careful if you are going to try the caramel making method noted above.  THE CAN MAY EXPLODE!!!!!!

Even Eagle's website does not advocate doing this and lists several other methods for achieving the desired results without boiling a sealed can.

Okaaay.....I guess I won't be trying the caramel pie after all. I'll stick to Kool-Aid pies instead! It's safe!
Thanks!!

I'm sorry if anyone has had a can explode!  Huh  I have made this caramel pie many times over the last couple of weeks (for work, a church function and my sons school bake sale)  and have not had a problem with the can exploding. I actually got the recipe off of a label on the Eagle Brand itself!

Bebe, I'm glad your family enjoyed the orange pie. I'm trying Cherry this weekend. On the caramel pie I only added one can and it was actually enough but it wasn't very thick. I'd say you could use two cans for a thicker consistency.  You can add other ingredients to it if you like. I just looked up a couple of other recipes for caramel pie and some of them add nuts, shaved chocolate and/or whipped topping to it. Also on one of the sites I viewed it states to make sure the can stays submerged in the boiling water at all times to avoid scorching and the possibility of the can exploding.

Now that sounds really, really interesting.  I'm going to have to try that.  Sometimes, I do a pie a little like this, but using cream cheese and whipped cream instead of cool whip, and working melted white chocolate and chopped toasted macadamia nuts into it.  It's especially nice with a little bit of fresh orange zest or essential oil, just a drop or so.
The idea of doing something like that with caramel and maybe a little bit of chocolate sprinkled over the top. . . Hmmmm.  Yummy.

I think I am going to do a couple of those cool aid Pies for Thanksgiving and I'm not going to tell anyone what they are until after they've tried them.
