Please get facts truthful. I have read alot of replies from people posting on here. My husband is Rose's brother, therefore I know more of what happened than you other people and you'll don't know nothing just speculation and guessing. You should not slander people because you are mad at the father who brutally beat his child. Rose is really a very nice person who really love's her child. The last drug test she took was when she applied for a job, at a hospital, and passed.

Anyone that knows child abuse is going on and does nothing to stop it, is as guilty as the ones doing the abusing.  They should have to face criminal charges for negligence.

I did not mean to offend you but we are not defending Tommy and Charlotte. They should rot in h***! God knows that Rose's side of the family did not know what was going on, we were not allowed to see her. If we was allowed to see her we would have stopped it believe me! I am just tired of people slandering Rose, she tried everything she could but was blocked by the courts by order of protection(Tommy had issued). And yes she did get the job at the hospital. If Rose would have went to their house to see Hailey she would have went to jail and Hailey would have been in the same situation. I am sorry you misunderstood the message, there is no excuse for what Tommy and Charlotte did to Hailey. You are right the facts are there about Tommy and Charlotte but not Rose. People should get the true facts when it is about the other side of the family. Rose's family has tried to see Hailey but was not allowed.

If Hailey ever comes to me and asks why or anyone else on our side of the family why we can honestly tell her we didn't know what was going on. They need to really investigate charlotte and tommys family because abuse is learned from a early age.  And God knows our family didn't know.

My husband and Rose do not have the same maternal mother. Rose did have it very tragic with her Mother passing. They have the same father and a great one at that. It is hard to fight tooth and nail when she already hired 2 attorneys and nothing happened because it takes so long to do anything through the court system. Rose can hold her head up high because she did not do this as can our family because we did not know. And our Lord in Heaven knows that is the truth.  Wonder why the other children weren't abused. It's a shame that it took a tragedy like this to bring the community together when we all should have been looking out for each other to begin with.

Finchlady, you obviously know me saying as a mother yourself and yeah your right as a mother I have 3 children whom is all taken care of and everyone that knows me, knows that. I would have went to h*** and back for my niece if I would have known she was being abused and so would my family.

Finchlady____I am Venus Patterson's Mother-in law. Her husband is my son. If you know the family as well as you think you do you would know that my son and Rose are half brother and sister. Rose's Mother might have been stabbed to death....I was not!
You really REALLY do need to go to wbirtv and check out their forum...page 6 and 7. A family member wrote a long and very detailed post as to why family members did not know Haley was being  abused. It is very unfair for you to pass judgement on Rosemary and the family the way you have done. I know for a FACT my son and daughter-in-law had nothing to do with the abuse and had no way of knowing that it was even going on and no they are NOT as guilty as the scum that did this to Haley! You don't even make much sense saying such a thing. You said you know the family as much as Venus Patterson, so I guess you are saying you are just as guilty too then and should be charged right along with Charlotte and Tommy. Becasue IF you knew this family then I guess you should have known about the abuse and what was happening to poor Haley...you think you know so much!!
