Well, when I say 'it's sad' I mean it doesn't have the same feel as this one. Yes, just my presence on that board makes it better. What would any discussion be like without "the master of bad jokes and ruler of the land of odd?"

I agree Facebook is way too cluttered and limited, besides you name and picture should not be shown to the world, unless you are very arrogant and proud to see your name and picture on the internet for all to see for what ever reason...like obama. The results can only be something you will not like.

Facebook 'linked to rise in syphilis'

Facebook has contributed to a resurgence in the sexually-transmitted disease syphilis, a health expert has claimed.

Maybe rubbers (gloves) should be worn when posting on facebook.

As a matter of fact, I am opinionated.

Well, I've toured the other WATE opinion options - and still like this one best.

I checked out the blogs today - http://www.wate.net/news/wate-6-blogs

I already knew I needed my jacket, figured it out when I was too cold without it.  I really didn't care too much about either of the sports entries.

WBIR comments have gotten much better since we've graced the site with our presence Smiley, but the forum is still sadly lacking.

The new forum we've set up could use some opposing ideas - contrary to popular belief, some of us who are far right like to see the view from the other side.  The resulting debates (disagreements, arguments or whatever you choose to call it) may not always be sweet and sensitive, but it is interesting and I do take something away from most of the posts.  Just for the record, don't look for me to become one of the left - The softer side of Sears worked for a while as a marketing ploy but the softer side of conservatism (previously marketed as "compassionate conservative") didn't get a lot of traction.

Hope to see all of you around.
