I am at my wits end with this news alerts program on my cell phone.  I have called the station 2-3 times for an answer with no resolve.  I have updated my account and unchecked alerts of any kind.  But still I continue to receive test news alerts throughout the day/night.

This is very annoying!  Has anyone got the anwer??  Please!!??
Thank you.

Try replying with the word "STOP" in the body to the number the msgs are sent from.

That, or call Don Dare...now wouldn't THAT be interesting???

Thanks for your insight.  Too funny!  I called the station and talked to the webmaster about it and he manually removed me while I was on the phone.  He was a pretty cool guy.  He said normally you can go into your account page and uncheck any of the boxes you wish NOT to receive.   It didn't work for me but it's settled now.  Woohoo for the webmaster!!   Grin

Thanks for your kind words, bp8me2. Again, I'm sorry for the problem you experienced.

The steps shown in these instructions normally work, so I'm not sure why you had the problem, but I'm glad I was able to resolve it for you.
