WE ARE ALL PART OF THE GREAT SPIRIT

« on: January 31, 2008, 10:45:11 AM »

As a member of the community and friend of Willie's for years, I believe I can speak for everyone here in the community that knew and loved him. By no means did he desrve to die the way he did. We are still shocked and angried over this and probably will be for a time to come. Things like this just didn't happen in our community, but now it has-it's come to our back yard.
I see one of the 4 can get out on bond, but I truly think it would be unsafe for him even though there are restrictions on his bond to keep him here until trail. He along with the others that were first caught have a long rap sheet and I don't understand why they were walking the streets. I don't care if Mr. Whaley did 3 tours of duty in Iraq and is on Meds for post trauma, that still doesn't excuse what he did.

I totally agree with you. I live in Morristown and did not know Mr Morgan, but when I saw his picture he reminded me so much of my grandfather who has passed on.

I would say that in all of his 94 years on this earth, Mr Morgan never harmed another soul and in the end his long and healthy life came down to $3,000.00!! What a shame and I feel so bad for the family. They have been in my prayers since this happened.

By the way, which one did they release on bond?

They have allowed a $50,000.00 bond for Whaley, but he has to wear an ankle bracelet if he gets out on bond. His lawyer pointed out the he had done 3 tours of duty in Iraq and was on Meds for post trauma due to his tours of duty there. In my opinion-that doesn't mean a hill of beans to me that he was in Irqa and on Meds for post trauma,I'm looking at his Rap sheet, which is a long one and with some of the crimes he commeted why was he out on the streets in the first place. Why were all of them out on the streets? They all had long rap sheets and with some of the crimes they did they were let go. Hopefully they have seen their last days on the streets.

I agree with you again! That does not excuse what he has done, or participated in. They need to all pay for this crime!!

What could a 94 year old man do to them?  They know he could not over power them so why did they do what they did?  I think of my parents, how could I deal with the fact that 3 demons attacked and killed them.  My Mom thinks about being along and have someone come in and rape and murder her.  What about the elderly couple where the husband had to watch while they raped his wife?  The guilty the man must be going through knowing he could not protect her. Cry

I am so sorry for your loss.  I live in Jeff Co but work in Mo'town and he looks so familar to me.  I know I"ve seen him out and about somewhere.  Regardless of whether I know him or not, what happened to him is sad, shocking and disgusting.  The thing is, he could have paid these guys their money and it seems as if the family of the boy who stole it were trying to pay him back..so why did they have to kill him.  The sad thing is, the people that did it probably were once decent...just proof of how drugs can completely change you and take over your body, mind and heart.  I hope that they all get what they deserve for giving this man, who lived 94 years, the worst kind of death.  He sounded like a really good man and he did not deserve to be tortured the way that he was.  My prayers are with his family and friends that were robbed from the remainder of his years.  The only positive thing to this entire mess is that Willie has finally made it to his Home where he doesn't have to live among monsters like those 4.

No words can tell how I feel when I hear of something like this.  My heart goes out to all involved.
