A state legislator says he intends to renew an effort to permit the sale of wine in grocery stores.

Two bills to permit wine sales in grocery stores died last year in committee without a vote, but yesterday State Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro) said he'll renew efforts in January to pass the legislation.
