Not seeing relatives this year....
My parents were going to come to TN from SC but are retired and on a fixed income. So I was going to drive the kids to see them but after looking at the money just could not afford the drive to SC. :0(

gas prices
the gas prices almost made us not to take our trip to myrtle beach this year, however, the way there going up it may be 6 dollars a gallon next year so we decided to go.
higher gas price changes vaca plan
We usually visit northern IL at least 3 times per year.
This year, 2 of the 3 IL trips are canceled and their contents all stacked onto the one remaining trip which we will still take.
Such travel will resume when the cost problems are solved.
